Stuck, hunched over, unable to walk properly, I had to lie down with pillows to ease the pain. Each time, it lasted for weeks. But my back issues didn\u2019t start overnight\u2014they began when I was 16, and at 31, they became much more intense. Doctors gave me muscle relaxers, but I wanted a real solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, I turned to yoga\u2014not just the poses, but also breathwork, meditation, self-massage, and truly listening to my body. With the guidance of professionals* and a consistent practice, I realized that my posture was deeply connected to my history. Even before I was born, a deep sorrow weighed on my family\u2014my older brother passed away while my mother was pregnant with me. Without knowing it, my body had built tension as a way to protect me from this invisible pain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Changing my posture also meant changing my way of living, releasing what I had been unconsciously holding. Little by little, I regained mobility, strength, and, most importantly, freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, I practice every day, sometimes in bed, sometimes on my mat, sometimes on a chair, using simple and accessible movements.
